"The United States
government has just released a nation-wide survey on Americans’ private sexual habits. The New York Times describes it as disclosing “surprising numbers for same-sex activity.”
Surprising is the right word, but not in the way I suspect the New York Times means.
The study was done by the National
Center
for Health Statistics, part of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Among other statistics, the study indicates that only about 4 percent of men and women consider themselves to be homosexual or bisexual."- Mark Earley, Breakpoint, Sept. 19, 2005
