Laurie Taylor, a Christian mother in Fayetteville, Arkansas, who complained for almost six months about the licentious and pornographic contents found in three school books finally pursuaded the local school board that the books needed to come off the shelves of elementary and middle school libraries. Taylor stated she felt the message of the three books was: "Have sex with whoever, whenever, whatever," and "Don't feel guilty about having sex; if you feel like you're old enough, then you are." |
