In his rebuttal to Dan Zanoza’s essay ["IL Media Watch: Is the media pushing gay rights as civil rights?," May 24] criticizing homosexuality, Rick Garcia unfairly characterizes him as being obsessed with homosexual genital activity ["Gay rights about more than sex," May 25]. On the contrary, an unremitting campaign of psychological warfare has forced upon us the obsessions, compulsions and delusions of homosexuals.
A normal person cannot read a mainstream newspaper, watch conventional television, view a trendy Hollywood film, or see a New York play that does not glorify homosexuals living together, dying of AIDS or giving men advice on how to dress.
Public schools have allowed homosexual advocates like GLSEN (Gay Lesbian and Straight Education Network) into their halls to promote homosexuality with public relations stunts like “days of silence” while prohibiting the expression of opposing views.
Who except homosexuals participate in “pride” parades by exposing their buttocks and other parts of their anatomy for the world to see? Who except homosexuals disrupt Mass by spitting out communion hosts, throwing around condoms or wearing gaudy sashes? Who but homosexuals deliberately contract AIDS to make a political point?
